I am a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. My clinical counselling experience involves working with adults, adolescents, families, couples, and children in school settings, non-profit organizations, and private practice.

I believe in an integrative approach to therapy. I incorporate aspects of strength-based therapies, such as solution-focused therapy and hope infused Counseling, with humanistic undertones rooted in the belief that we are capable of the changes we seek. Working together, we can expect to explore presenting concerns, set realistic goals, and reach towards desired outcomes in a supportive environment. I am humbled and inspired by human vulnerability and resiliency, it is my hope that by engaging in a therapeutic journey together we can reach your true potential.

Stephanie Hawryliw
Registered Psychologist

Stephanie is a Registered Psychologist who is well-versed in supporting adults and teens through the challenges they face in their lives. In particular, she has a passion for working with trauma, healthy relationships, supporting clients in emotional regulation, and shame & shame resilience. We all have moments of never feeling good enough, having difficulty in our relationships, and struggling with our emotions, worries, and doubts. Stephanie believes that traumas in our lives, big and small, have the capacity to significantly impact our wellbeing and functioning and that resolving those traumas can provide great relief, insight, and resilience.
Stephanie uses numerous evidence-based practices including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Therapeutic Writing to support clients in working through the challenges they face and attaining the tools they need to reach their goals and feel their best. She is always striving to learn and grow to tailor her approach to her clients’ unique needs.
Ultimately, what is the driving force behind her career and at the heart of her practice? It’s knowing what a significant difference it can make to have a supportive, compassionate, and non-judgemental person and advocate walking with you on your journey.
